Chapter 1: Noah Hearing God's Voice. A pivotal moment in the story of Noah's Ark.

The world was consumed by wickedness. God saw the evil in humanity's hearts.

Genesis 6:13-22: Then God said to Noah, 'I have decided to put an end to all living creatures, for the earth is filled with violence because of them. I am surely going to destroy both them and the earth.'

God commanded Noah to build an ark, a massive vessel to save his family and two of every animal kind from the impending flood.

The ark's construction was a monumental task, taking 120 years. During this time, Noah warned his people, but they refused to heed his message.

Despite Noah's warnings, humanity persisted in its wickedness.

God's justice and mercy were both at play. The flood would cleanse the earth, but Noah and his family would be spared.

The flood lasted 150 days. Afterward, a rainbow appeared, a symbol of God's promise never to destroy the earth by flood again.
